Online History Tutoring
Expert Online History Tutoring
Historical thinking, primary-source analysis, and structured argument — for CHC2D, CHY4U, CHI4U, and AP/IB history courses that demand real writing, not bullet-point summaries.
Why Choose Our History Tutors
History is not a memory contest. Ontario courses assess historical significance, cause and consequence, continuity and change, and the ethical dimension of history. We teach those concepts explicitly and show how to build thesis-driven answers that use evidence from sources.
Writing-First Support
Outlines, body paragraphs, and integrated quotations — the same skills evaluated on research essays and in-class writing.
CHC, CHY, and CHI Outcomes
Tutors who know the expectations in Canadian history, world history, and the Canada culture and identity course.
Source Work That Scores
How to read bias, corroborate documents, and write the "so what" analysis teachers look for in achievement charts.
Ontario History & Social Studies Alignment
We work within the Canadian and world history programs in English-language schools. CHC2D covers Canadian history since the First World War; CHY4U focuses on world history from the fifteenth century; CHI4U develops deep Canadian cultural and political identity through inquiry. We also help with OSSLT-style and academic reading and writing across these courses.
- Grades 7–8: history strand on New France through Confederation — early historical thinking and inquiry questions.
- CHC2D: military, social, and political change in Canada, Indigenous perspectives, rights, and contemporary connections.
- CHY4U: global trade, revolutions, ideologies, world wars, decolonization, and Cold War–era challenges.
- CHI4U: French-English relations, identity, First Nations, Métis, and Inuit stories, and Canada in a globalized world.
- AP & IB: document-based question practice, long essay structure, and content review for AP World, AP US, and IB History.
